Description
Lynxeus is an Augmented Reality (AR) application developed for HoloLens 2 to facilitate safer navigation and operations at sea.
Combining various streams of nautical data – from ECDIS to AIS to weather data – Lynxeus allows users to see the unseen in real time. Mariners will be able to avoid collisions with other vessels or contact with subsurface hazards – even in darkness or fog.
KEY FEATURES:
- Route Planning – Enter details about your vessel and your destination. The software will generate possible routes and validate them to ensure safe passage for your specific vessel.
- Undersea Topology – Visualize chart data in real time so you can see and avoid hazards beneath the surface. The data used for visualization is extracted from official S-57 or S-63 maps.
- Nearby Vessels – See other vessels and information about them even when not visible to the naked eye. This can be very useful to avoid collisions with other vessels by predicting their paths.
